If your jewelry ever breaks or becomes damaged, we offer repair services to fix your piece, just bring back the chain and we will repair it. Chains that were applied at Smudge are a complementary fix, while chains applied from other permanent jewelry providers will be charged a Zap fee of $25 per piece.
Do you charge by the inch?
No!
At Smudge Beauty Bar, we believe in clear, transparent pricing. We do not charge by the inch or add extra fees for the welding process. The price you see includes everything.
Can I wear permanent jewelry in the shower or while swimming?
Yes!
Permanent jewelry is made to be worn continuously, so feel free to shower, swim, or work out without needing to remove it.
Age Requirements for Permanent Jewelry?
At Smudge Beauty Bar, we are happy to offer permanent jewelry for individuals of all ages, with a few important guidelines in place.
To ensure the safety and comfort of all our clients, children under the age of 12 are not eligible for permanent jewelry services, as the process involves welding the jewelry directly onto the skin, which may not be suitable for younger, developing bodies.
However, we understand the desire to share the experience of jewelry that lasts a lifetime. For children under 12, we offer the option of customizing a piece with a clasp, so they can still enjoy a beautiful, personalized piece of jewelry while keeping the flexibility to remove it as needed.
